Akademia Kuraszków

We recently spent four nights at Akademia Kuraszkow as a family and we greatly enjoyed our stay! The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had booked four double rooms which were lovely, we especially loved the showers! Please note, that there is no room service, but that wasn't a problem for us. Also, we highly appreciated that our dog was welcome in the guestrooms as well as in the restaurant and on the patio. Wherever we went, a water bowl was offered. The dinner menu was comparatively small, but the food was always very tasty and nicely presented. The breakfast buffet was extensive with lots of fresh fruit, bread varieties and egg specialties. More variety in jams would have been nice, in Poland people seem to prefer hearty foods for breakfast. Flies at the breakfast buffet were an issue, due to the horse stables being located right underneath the hotel building. We do not mean to critizise, just would like to note the following: We found it a bit strange that none of the other guests wore a mask, not when walking down the hallways, not in the restaurant and especially not when serving themselves at the breakfast buffet. Also, being horseback riders ourselves, we watched some of the morning riding classes. The riding teachers were fun and very friendly with the mostly young riding students, but didn't seem really capable of keeping it together. The saddles, for the most part, seemed to be too small and not a proper fit, especially on the little white pony the saddle kept sliding forward and to the left and no one noticed. However, we loved to see that even the schooling horses were allowed to relax out on the pasture. The riding arena and the entire grounds, gardens and parking areas are beautifully built and perfectly kept, a great place to start off the day with a nice little walk. To sum things up, we had a wonderful stay, thanks to the staff, and would highly recommend this hotel. We hope to stay there again in the near future as we visit the area regularly for family history reasons.

Driving around dolina Baryczy we came across this fantastic place. Food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff very nice. Would totally recommend to stay in this beautiful place. To add to it there is a real stables underneath. with possibility of horse riding lessons . Little advice to the owners is to invest some time in music selection. This place is too beautiful to have standard radio on. Recommend Spotify and some chilled out music.
